An alarm control panel provides protection zones (or areas in your home) to support intrusion detection sensors and fire protection devices such as smoke detectors. When the panel receives a signal from a sensor, it turns the signal into a command to operate some other part of the system.
For example, the panel may issue a command to activate a siren alarm on your premises, or contact our central station that an activity has been detected.
